it's been bandied around that maybe some people (Mel, Dallas, others LOL) might just like a few smaller roaches every now and then to add some variety to the crickets their lizards and frogs are getting.
if I were to bring Turkistan roaches http://gotrhacs.com/images/lateralis.jpg
to meetings, who would be interested in picking some up? or perhaps making them available between meetings, if a rendezvous could be arranged?
this seems reasonable, based on a big discount from online bug sources:
25 $5
50 $10
100 $15
250 $30
now, I wouldn't be inclined to count them all out exactly. they're small (adults about the size of a big cricket, the smallest nymphs not much bigger than a sesame seed). however, Dallas and Mel can attest to the fact that I'm generous when I dump them in the little bin and over-estimate by a significant margin.
this is what NY Worms charges:
$15.00 per 10
$20.00 per 25
$26.00 per 50
$50.00 per 100
does this sound reasonable? any takers? I'd like to get an idea of what people want so I can consider getting deli cups.
