I am a proud owner of a 4 ft long green iguana named Drakie (original name is Draco which means "Dragon" in latin. He was named after the Dragon from Dragonheart, but if you are a Harry Potter fan, he also carries Malfoy's name).

Drakie is a sweet lizard who at times can be aggressive. If you know how to handle him, he will be fine (more than happy to show anyone how to do it. If you already have had iguanas then you shouldn't have a problem).

I have been feeding him spring salad mixes and at times raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, squash etc., as an added treat.
Some high quality pet stores carry frozen food. Usually frozen raw meat for dogs and cats. There is also a veggie version that Drakie likes. Normally I would defrost the pellets until they were lukewarm and feed it to him.

It is Very Important I find him a home because I can't afford to keep him. I am in a position of moving and may be moving out of the country. I want to make sure he goes to a good home. So please if you take him be serious about it. Don't take it lightly.

He is in excellent health and has never had to go to the vet for anything serious. His birthday is 5th, Sept 1998- So he is almost 11 years old.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.
Thanks,
Alexia Johnson
