I have a CWD that I rescued off of craigslist a few months back. He is doing much better and just shed and is looking awesome! He is kind of skittish when you first take him out, but is not mean at all and calms down after a minute. I would not trust him on my shoulder or anything though. He is being fed dubia roaches right now, he wont eat any greens. I want him to go to someone who has reptile experience (preferably with tropical lizards), as he can't go back to the conditions he was in before. Im hoping someone can work with him to give him an even better home than I can.
I have him in a 75 gallon tank with a custom built wood top (basically 2 75 gallons stacked on top of each other). The top has plexiglass sliding doors. This is a rehab tank, as he is not the bast climber yet due to a broken arm that healed wrong when he was young. I would like to sell the tank, but the lizard is free to a GOOD home. If I feel that he is truly going to the best home, and you want the tank too, we can negotiate a reasonable price. Please e-mail me and we can talk about the tank price (unless you already have one), and also his history and whatever else you want to know. He is a very good looking boy, and I would love to keep him, but my living situation is changing and I can only take 2 lizards (my beardies which Ive had for years...).
E-mail me at lances486@yahoo.com for pictures or if you have any questions about him. He is for LOCAL PICKUP ONLY!!! I also might be able to meed you somewhere if its not too far. I live in Bellevue.

I should also mention that he has never had a UV light or any kind of calcium or other supplements before he came to me. He was also fed a diet of superworms and pinky mice only a few times a week. He still looks a little thin even though he eats like 10 medium sized dubia a day... not sure whats up with that.
here are some pictures:

I will take him! I have a a female that was in the same situation. I can take him and see how they get along. She is really docile.
Let me know.
Sara
Jade (Sara) would be a great choice for home for him. He's pretty good looking for not being well cared for. A little TLC and he'll be amazing.
Any idea how old he is?
I just upgraded Jades tank too! I took Maria's old cage and divided it in two. George is on the left hand side, and Jade on the right.
I need to post pics when I'm done decorating! :D
Thanks Chad for the recommendation! :D

I'm really not meaning this to come across rude, so please don't take it as such... your female water dragon, and this male water dragon, should not be housed together under ANY circumstance. The males situation alone is reason enough, let alone if the female came to you in such a way... so it really shouldn't matter if "they get along." You put species of opposite sex together, you're going to get breeding, and these animals deserve to live out the rest of their lives without this stress
True true!
I will pass on the dragon to make sure they have a stress free life :D

Honestly, Im not familiar with the "rules" of housing water dragons together. I have had many other lizards though, so Im assuming its the same situation with these guys. I have read a lot about their care, but have not gotten into this subject cause I never intended to put him with another.
I would rather not put him through more stress than he has already gone through. If Im wrong, and these guys are OK to be housed together then thats fine, but I guess I would like some more opinions before Im comfortable with that. Im not in any hurry to get rid of him, so I have time to make sure he goes to the right person. I was going to move, but decided to stay at my place. I still want him to go to someone who can give him the best care. I rescued him with the intention of finding him a good home, I did plan on keeping him longer though... but now that I already posted this Im ready to let him go.
I don't visit this forum often, so if you want to get ahold of me shoot me an e-mail: lances486@yahoo.com.
Thanks for the interest and the replies! That picture was about 3 days after I got him. The people brought him to a Petsmart vet who gave him a slurry of antiparasites, a/d food, multivitamins, and calcium. He was only supposed to be on it for 3 days (I called the vet when I got him), but at the time I got him they had been giving it to him for 9 (NINE) days!! He was almost dead, he would just pass out in my hands and was completely lifeless. After 3 days off the meds he started to wake up and gain strength. He couldn't even climb at first, he kept falling off the basking spot, which is why I made it out of wide boards, not sticks and such. This is only one of the things that was wrong with him too, if you wanna know more send me an e-mail.
