I am a proud owner of a 4 foot long green iguana. He is a sweetheart, but I can't keep him. I have lost my job and I may be moving. I can't afford to keep him and once I move he won't be able to follow me.
I am looking for someone who wants to have a lizard and treat him well. He is happiest when he doesn't have a cage. A litter box full of water and climbing sticks.
But, if he needs to be in a cage a BIG one would work (he is in a pretty big one now). He is a little aggressive and he does snap if he isn't in the mood. I have never had a problem picking him up when I wanted to. You just need to know how to handle him. He doesn't work well with other animals unless they leave him alone. He won't attack other animals unless provoked.
He has never been with other Iguanas so I don't know how he would react.
He is 10 years old and has been in perfect health.

I feed him baby green mix and different fruits and vegetables. He does like the frozen vegetarian food (like the raw frozen meat for dogs and cats, but it is made from veggies). I would normally defrost a bowl in the microwave and feed it to him luke warm.

If you are interested please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
