feeder time again

Robert already posted in last month's thread, but I figured I'd start a new one as a reminder. :)

The PNWHS meeting is coming up on Sunday! It's the Potluck & Auction, and rules prohibit bringing live animals to the meeting. But I will have my frozen feeders and cupped insects. I would really appreciate pre-orders this month, as I'd like to attend the Auction. But I will have extra for last minute people. :) I should be fully stocked on everything (although someone will probably prove me wrong), except mealworms, and Saille is providing those! I have supers and giants, but no regular/large ones. I'd like to give my dubia colony a rest this month, and I'll have a full van anyway.

I do still have young beardies. I call them "young" rather than "babies" as most are approaching a foot long! I can't bring them because of the live animal restriction, but I can arrange to meet with anybody who is interested in bringing one home, after the meeting. PM me for details.

I am going to bring all my rabbits bigger than 2 lbs for the HH burm, but there aren't going to be a whole lot of them. I am getting out of rabbits and clearing out the freezer, so the HH ones are free (Merry Christmas!). Any smaller ones are $3, I just want the freezer space back.

Jenn, as soon as I know how big S's boa is, I can give you a guesstimate on feeders for Izzy (who will be fostering)...have you ever heard back? it makes a really big difference, if he's 8 ft or if he's 2 ft...


Amanda (huggnkiss) will need some small rats and large mice for two bp fosters. if you could put together enough to last her until January's meeting, as I don't know if she'll see this before the meeting? I'm thinking 6 or 7 mice and 4 or 5 rats, if she doesn't contact you and ask otherwise?


for me personally, I'd like either rat pinks or medium mice, 7 or 8, for Buttons (foster). the other two are on live. for my own needs, I'd like 8 jumbo mice so I can get Toki on a diet and still feed her every week. she didn't appreciate the reduced feeding schedule....:rolleyes:

I dunno...they're for Poppy. So, whatever her same-size clutchmates are eating. And I can do 250. :) I realized that feeding her exclusively phoenix worms worked out to be ~ $5/day! Now that we've powered through the accidental over-order, I'm ready to start giving her crickets @ breakfast again.

I carry the one part diet, the meal replacement powder. Basically, I buy large quantities of it and part out the bags, weighing it on a gram scale for accuracy. It will keep for up to 6 months in the fridge.
