(( the skinks look very tempting))
Hi All –
Due to some life changes, I am forced to sell off a great deal of my animals. I will not be able to take care of them the way they need to be, and so it is with a heavy heart I am doing this. Please note that the prices I am asking for the vast majority of this stuff is below the market standard and so I probably will not budge much on price.
Thanks!
Animals for Sale:
Frogs –
5.1 Megophrys nasuta – These are wild caught adults from the Cameroon Highlands, and have been in my care for at least 3 months, but some of them I have had for over a year. They have been eating roaches, crickets, and earthworms. I have not bred this group yet, but they were going to be my spring project. They have been treated for chytrid and have been wormed. I am selling the whole group, which includes a large female for $200.00.
* I have two Borneo nasuta male that I am selling for $25.00 each or 2 for $40.00. They have also been treated for chytrid and were wormed.
1.4 Megophrys aceras – This is a long-term captive group and they are very rare in the pet trade. I have never attempted to breed these frogs, as I just haven’t had the time. They look similar to the nasuta but have smaller horns and are more tan and gray than brown and red. They are very interesting and a low-key frog. Interesting captives for sure. They have been treated for chytrid and were wormed. I am selling the group for $200.00.
0.0.3 Nyctixalus pictus – These are interesting tree frogs that I got from Yoncalla Frog (Steve Busch). They have been treated for chytrid and were also wormed. They are an easy tree frog to keep. I am selling all three of them for $100.00.
Toads –
5.1 Ingerophrynus parvus – These are small toads about the size of a Tinc. They have been treated for chytrid and have been wormed. I am selling the group for $100.00.
2.0 Phrynoides (Bufo) asper – I have two male asper that I am going to sell. They have been in my care for over a year, and they are eating and pooping machines. These are not the giant asper, but the medium sized asper. They will make a great addition to anyone’s collection, and are collected in number each year, so if you wanted to breed them, you could find a female. I am selling the two together for $50.00 or $30.00 each. I also have three of the smaller variety that I am offering. I believe them to be a 2.1 group, but am not positive. I am selling these three for $60.00 together or for $25.00 each.
1.0.1 Termite toads – I do not know the scientific name, but they could be Mertensophryne (Bufo taitanus) taitana. These are great little toads and there is at least one male in the group. I hear him calling at night and he sounds like a little monkey. They are great little toads and I am selling the two together for $40.00.
Lizards –
1.1 Acanthasaura armata – I have had these two since this summer. They are healthy (have been wormed) and eat like a horse. One is missing a horn and the other has a broken horn, but it’s healed up well. They love to eat worms and roaches. I keep mine similar to chameleons. They like the lick the water off the leaves and do not soak in water – in my experience anyhow. I am asking $40.00 for the pair.
0.0.1 Acanthasaura capra – I have had this dragon for 6 months. It’s healthy and eats well. I believe it is a female dragon, but I am not 100% positive. She has been wormed. I have been feeding her roaches, and earthworms. She loves the worms the best! I am asking $20.00 for her.
1.1 Aeluroscalobates felinus – I have a pair that has bred for me that I am selling. They have been wormed. These are neat geckos in that they are arboreal, but can’t climb glass. I keep mine with cork bark and plants to climb on. They eat roaches and wax worms, and will go after crickets also. The baby that hatched from this pair has been very healthy and is steadily growing. It’s important to keep these geckos in a humid environment or they don’t shed well. I am selling this proven pair for $100.00.
1.1 Tribolonotus gracilis– I bought this pair as captive bred adults. I haven’t had them long and I am irritated that I have to sell them, but life changes are not easy on us. Anyhow, they are a cool lizard but are very shy and secretive. I am selling them for what I paid for them. They are $100.00 for the pair.
If you buy everything I will sell it for $1000.00 shipped. Pictures available for those of you who are serious buyers only. If interested, contact me at megophryidaeman@gmail.com
