Yeah, I saw that one this morning and showed it to Tommy. I'd say someone knows they're illegal and is trying to avoid F&W's attention. :) I kinda hope F&W has discovered CL and check it regularly. I've seen several illegal critters get posted and sometimes the sellers are real morons who need a good kick in the pants.

Are gators illegal in Washington? They were selling babies @ the Hillsboro show.

Hmm...perhaps our mystery CL'er purchased said "Lizard" at the Hillsboro show, only to realize a month later that what he has is illegal - and is now trying to pawn it off on some sucker.

Yes, all crocodilians are illegal in WA. They are legal in OR but I don't know if there are permits or anything. If you want to look up the local law, you can search the forums under "dangerous wild animals" or "ban bill" and that should pop up the bill number and a link to the state website.
